The HFT Pipestoppers® range of Aluminium Test Plugs can be used for leak testing, isolation, sealing, stopping and purging pipework in ducting and conduit, swimming pools, masking in painting and casting industries.

Low Cost where Access is Tight
For applications where insufficient length of pipe is available for the regular Cylindrical and Spherical Stoppers, this new style designated ‘HFT Pipestoppers® Low Profile Stoppers’ because of their low profile can fit into a pipe end that may be directly on an elbow or maybe just inside a flanged neck on a casting or other fabrication.
The Stopper is a secure method of blocking pipe ends to keep gases inside or to keep debris and vermin out.
When used in a vertical mode, they are ideal to prevent machining swarf or tools from falling into pipes or orifices into unrecoverable situations.

Lightweight… but Strong and Highly Resistant Plugs
HFT® Pipestoppers® Inflatable Rubber Pipe Plugs and Stoppers are made of a thicker, stronger, special rubber and have a large range of diameters. These Plugs are an addition to the existing range of inflatable, aluminium, nylon and steel plugs and stoppers. The special rubber is very resistant to higher pressure and petrochemical fluids and vapours.
These Rubber Inflatable Plugs take only seconds to inflate and are ideal for fast, reliable and safe stopping and blocking of pipes, joints, channels, inlets and a number of other uses.
These lightweight, easy to remove Rubber Inflatable Plugs are resistant from -40° to 70°C and highly resistant to oils, hydrocarbons and petrochemicals.

Spherical PetroChem® Inflatable Stoppers give less contact area than the Cylindrical version, but are very useful where access is limited. Since the position of the Stopper in the pipe is not critical, it can be put at any angle, this is particularly useful when inserting into a small opening at the top of a pipe rather than at the end of the pipe.

These HFT Pipestoppers® Steel Drain Test Plugs are specifically designed for heavier duty applications such as long immersion in water, for use at higher temperatures or for contact with acidic or alkaline environments for which the nylon, aluminium and inflatable plugs are unsuitable.

MODEL 572AC SEVERMASTER
Tube Severing Machine
The Model 572AC SEVERMASTER™ severs .25” to 2″ (6.4 to 50.8mm) diameter tubes and thin wall pipe. This machine enhances productivity by incorporation of the auto-cycle tool model and quick lock collet closure. A cam cycle tool bit feed mechanism, with adjustable depth of feed from .001” to .005” (.02 to .13mm), automatically returns the tool bit to the home position ready to start the next cut. The feed increment per revolution is adjustable to optimize the cutting speed relative to the material. The tool module also allows setting the start and finish cut positions to minimize the cycle time. A variable speed motor provides further cutting speed control for increased tool bit life and ID burr reduction. The quick lock mechanism actuates the collet with a single lever stroke for simple collet changes.
Tool bit options are available to minimize the burr on the mounting side or the drop-off side of the sever line and in different edge widths to match the tube wall thickness. The tool also incorporates mounting features to allow use of an SQM-1AC Tube Squaring Module for optimum burr free ends.

The Model 576AC SEVERMASTER™ severs 2.0” to 6.63″ (50.8 to 168.4mm) diameter tubes and thin wall pipe. This machine enhances productivity by incorporation of the auto-cycle tool model and quick lock collet closure. Low Cost where Access is Tight
For applications where insufficient length of pipe is available for the regular Cylindrical and Spherical Stoppers, this new style designated ‘HFT Pipestoppers® Low Profile Stoppers’ because of their low profile can fit into a pipe end that may be directly on an elbow or maybe just inside a flanged neck on a casting or other fabrication.
The Stopper is a secure method of blocking pipe ends to keep gases inside or to keep debris and vermin out.
When used in a vertical mode, they are ideal to prevent machining swarf or tools from falling into pipes or orifices into unrecoverable situations.

Lightweight… but Strong and Highly Resistant Plugs
HFT® Pipestoppers® Inflatable Rubber Pipe Plugs and Stoppers are made of a thicker, stronger, special rubber and have a large range of diameters. These Plugs are an addition to the existing range of inflatable, aluminium, nylon and steel plugs and stoppers. The special rubber is very resistant to higher pressure and petrochemical fluids and vapours.
These Rubber Inflatable Plugs take only seconds to inflate and are ideal for fast, reliable and safe stopping and blocking of pipes, joints, channels, inlets and a number of other uses.
These lightweight, easy to remove Rubber Inflatable Plugs are resistant from -40° to 70°C and highly resistant to oils, hydrocarbons and petrochemicals.

Standard PetroChem® Inflatable Stoppers are available in Spherical and Cylindrical formats.
Cylindrical PetroChem® Inflatable Stoppers are commonly used for stopping off pipes with hydrocarbon gases and liquids inside where the inner membrane of the stopper protects the inflatable latex bag inside that.
Spherical PetroChem® Inflatable Stoppers give less contact area than the Cylindrical version, but are very useful where access is limited. Since the position of the Stopper in the pipe is not critical, it can be put at any angle, this is particularly useful when inserting into a small opening at the top of a pipe rather than at the end of the pipe.

HFT Pipestoppers® Steel Test Plugs can be used for low pressure testing and plugging all pipes, pipelines and pipe work fabrications and any other orifices between 2 to 48″ (50 to 1200 mm) diameter.
These HFT Pipestoppers® Steel Drain Test Plugs are specifically designed for heavier duty applications such as long immersion in water, for use at higher temperatures or for contact with acidic or alkaline environments for which the nylon, aluminium and inflatable plugs are unsuitable.
Low cost expanding HFT Pipestoppers® Steel Testing Plugs and Stoppers range for sizes up to 48″ (1200 mm) diameter.
The standard seals are made from natural rubber. Synthetic rubber seals (for example for petrochemical applications) are also available.

MODEL 572AC SEVERMASTER
Tube Severing Machine
The Model 572AC SEVERMASTER™ severs .25” to 2″ (6.4 to 50.8mm) diameter tubes and thin wall pipe. This machine enhances productivity by incorporation of the auto-cycle tool model and quick lock collet closure. A cam cycle tool bit feed mechanism, with adjustable depth of feed from .001” to .005” (.02 to .13mm), automatically returns the tool bit to the home position ready to start the next cut. The feed increment per revolution is adjustable to optimize the cutting speed relative to the material. The tool module also allows setting the start and finish cut positions to minimize the cycle time. A variable speed motor provides further cutting speed control for increased tool bit life and ID burr reduction. The quick lock mechanism actuates the collet with a single lever stroke for simple collet changes.
Tool bit options are available to minimize the burr on the mounting side or the drop-off side of the sever line and in different edge widths to match the tube wall thickness. The tool also incorporates mounting features to allow use of an SQM-1AC Tube Squaring Module for optimum burr free ends.

The Model 576AC SEVERMASTER™ severs 2.0” to 6.63″ (50.8 to 168.4mm) diameter tubes and thin wall pipe. This machine enhances productivity by incorporation of the auto-cycle tool model and quick lock collet closure. The HFT® Pipestoppers® Qwik-Freezer™ Pipe Freezing Equipment uses liquid carbon dioxide (CO2) to freeze stationary water in any chosen sections of pipe or tubing. By producing very low ‘dry ice’ temperatures, Qwik- Freezer™ forms a secure in-line ice plug.
This temporarily isolates the water in the system and allows repairs or modification to be made without draining or shutting off systems.

Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT® pioneered the use of Tungsten Electrode Grinding machines in the 1970’s because of our knowledge behind the science of the welding arc and the need for a consistently and correctly ground tungsten electrode.
Since then the market place has become saturated with a plethora of different machines and our machine design is no longer viable in the market place.
Due to the fact that the Techweld® Tungsten Electrode Grinders TEG-3 are unique to Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT®, the grinding wheels were specifically developed by HFT® to produce long lasting and long life results.
Therefore, we will continue to support the product with ongoing supply and availablity of Replacement ‘Long Life’ Diamond Grinding Wheels.
