This model has so many new advances and innovations placing this design firmly ahead in the field of pipe weld purging systems.
Developed specifically for high speed pipe weld joint purging, the Argweld® QuickPurge® System is already being used internationally in many fields.
With constant improvement, design development and testing, we have launched Argweld® QuickPurge® with valuable new features.
Key applications include weld purging of pipe weld joints from 6 to 88″ (150 to 2,235 mm) diameter in any field, such as refineries, mining operations, power stations, LNG gas terminals, compressor stations LNG carriers, pipelines and all process industry pipework.
Using scientific innovations, Argweld® QuickPurge® Systems have been updated to include IntaCal® technology that eliminates the old fashioned valve system and all of the pre-setting necessary as well as preventing the risk of over inflation.
Additionally, Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT® has integrated the new RootGlo® positioning strip, a highly luminescent central band that allows the operator to position the Argweld® QuickPurge® System quickly and accurately and give a clear view of the root centre line of the QuickPurge® System.
13W-QuickPurgePipeWeldPurgeSystemRootGlo® absorbs enough energy during daylight hours to provide up to 12 hours of luminiscence inside the pipe.
Argweld® QuickPurge® Systems are used for high quality, reliable welding of reactive metal tube and pipe joints to ensure a very fast weld purge time and a very high quality weld root, free from oxidation, discolouration and coking.
Typical weld purge times for the Argweld® QuickPurge® System would be less than 8 minutes for a 36″ pipe down to 0.1% oxygen and correspondingly faster for smaller diameters.
Many leading international pipework fabricators rely on Argweld® QuickPurge® Systems for the dramatic savings in time and volumes of weld purge gas and have thereby reduced their operating costs significantly.
Working with Argweld® QuickPurge® Systems gives infinite flow control with no risk of burst dams and provide super high speed welding of pipe joints that have to be purged.
Using QuickPurge® Inflatable Pipeline and Pipe Weld Purging Systems will also avoid the filling of pipe systems and achieve a health and safety objective of not putting lives at risk when dumping a line full of argon at the end of a weld.
