◆ Our safety shoes always include a toe protection (in steel or in other material with a resitance > 200J).
◆ The European directive 89/686/ EEC recommends the wearing of safety shoes for workers.
◆ Weldline proposes products with toe protection only (>200 J) that can be in steel, aluminium or in fiberplast and with an antipuncture plate in steel or in fibre textile.

◆ The standard EN ISO 20345 includes several levels. The criteria of choice are:
1 – Levels of protection as indicated above
2 – High or low shoes
3 – Upper in:
◆ full-grain leather (water resistant),
◆ split leather,
◆ fabric (non water resistant),
◆ pigmented split leather.
4 – Outsole:
◆ PU+PU (dual density polyurethane lightweight),
◆ PU+TPU (lightness and flexibility + more strength of the thermoplastic polyurethane),
◆ PU + nitrile rubber for extreme temperatures (up to 300 °C).
5 – Antipuncture midsole:
◆ in steel,
◆ non metallic for more comfort.
6 – Toe protection:
◆ steel,
◆ aluminium (30% lighter),
◆ fiberplast (extra lightweight).
