MultiStrike® Tungsten Electrodes can be used for welding of steels and alloys with DC as well as aluminium with AC techniques and provide a stable performance over the current range from 0 – 300 Amps.
The carefully balanced mix of non-radiotoxic dopants used in Techweld® MultiStrike® Tungsten Electrodes will give you up to 10 times the number of arc strikes, over conventional 2% thoriated tungsten electrodes under identical conditions.
These MultiStrike® Tungsten Electrodes are:

In addition, MultiStrike® Tungsten Electrodes lower the working temperature giving narrower, lower heat input welds. The number of arc strikes is increased before re-grinding is needed.
