HFT Pipestoppers® Inflatable Low Profile Stoppers
Low Cost where Access is Tight
For applications where insufficient length of pipe is available for the regular Cylindrical and Spherical Stoppers, this new style designated ‘HFT Pipestoppers® Low Profile Stoppers’ because of their low profile can fit into a pipe end that may be directly on an elbow or maybe just inside a flanged neck on a casting or other fabrication.
The Stopper is a secure method of blocking pipe ends to keep gases inside or to keep debris and vermin out.
When used in a vertical mode, they are ideal to prevent machining swarf or tools from falling into pipes or orifices into unrecoverable situations.
These stoppers are available in sizes from 6 – 96” (150 – 2,440 mm).

HFT Pipestoppers Pancake Inflatable Stoppers
The Pipestoppers® Division of Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT® manufactures a range of Low Profile Stoppers for pipes, ducts and other shaped orifices.
The Low Profile Stoppers provide an excellent grip in the pipe with an effective all round seal. Manufactured from the same superior materials used on our Argweld® QuickPurge® Systems.
They are ideal for use where our Cylindrical or Spherical Inflatable Stoppers are not suitable.
Heat Resistant up to 90oC
HFT Pipestoppers Pancake Inflatable Stoppers
Each Low Profile Stopper is fitted as standard with a Schrader Valve connected to a 1.2m hose and is easy to inflate by simply connecting to a hand or foot pump or compressor. Deflation of each stopper is carried out by simply depressing the pin inside the Schrader Valve.
These stoppers are manufactured for pipe diameters from 6 – 96” (150 – 2440 mm).
The Low Profile Stoppers are made from the same robust material as our QuickPurge® Inflatable Tube and Pipe Purging Systems, both of which are heat resistant up to 90oC.
